Jediler Turbe (ar. Turbe = mausoleum) is the most famous Sarajevo mausoleum. The name of this mausoleum – Jedileri, is of  Turkish origin, which means seven.

These are the tombs of seven Muslim brothers who died during the Ottoman period. They were buried next to one another.

There are two legends connected to this mausoleum. One of these is a legend that says that visitors (of any religion) who approach this place and drop coins into each of the seven tombs while praying for their souls, will have a wish made at that spot come true.
